Our Estate and Vineyards

Bask in the beauty of Noordhoek’s sun-drenched slopes, where our vines grow in harmony with nature and legacy lives in every glass.

Explore Our Unique Terroir

Our distinct coastal location is at the soul of our wines. The sea breezes and granite-rich soil of the Cape shape grapes with exceptional character, which are hand-harvested with care from our historic vineyards.

The harmony between the land and climate produces wines with a distinct character, characterised by crispness, minerality, and exquisite richness. Each varietal and vintage embodies our philosophy of minimal intervention and expressive winemaking, allowing the true essence of our terroir to shine through in every glass, from our home to yours.

The Wildlife Living with Us

From the mountains to the shoreline, Cape Town is one of the most biodiverse places on earth and home to one of the world's six floral kingdoms, a kingdom shared with a wide array of wildlife.

  • Cape Sugarbird

A vital protea pollinator with a long, curved beak and tail used in elaborate dances to attract a mate.

  • Cape Penguin

Africa’s only penguin species, now endangered. An agile swimmer with pink eye glands that help regulate body temperature.

  • Leopard Toad

Critically endangered and found only in the southwestern Cape, it’s known for its bold markings and unique snoring call.

This graceful antelope found on the estate is known for its distinctive leap, "pronking." With its distinctive white face and chestnut flanks, it is an iconic symbol of South Africa's national pride.

  • Caracal

A powerful small cat with lynx-like features, capable of leaping 4 meters and snatching birds mid-air at high speed.

  • Cape Leopard

Smaller than their savanna cousins, these elusive cats rely on stealth, speed, and camouflage to roam vast mountainous territories.

  • King Protea

Ancient flower dating back 300 million years, this fire-loving species thrives after wildfires. South Africa's resilient national flower since 1976.

  • Giant Bamboo Kelp

Ancient giant reaching towering heights, this remarkable kelp provides vital habitat for marine life while naturally reducing ocean carbon dioxide levels.

  • Granite Fynbos

Wonderfully tall, dense scrubland on fertile slopes, dominated by daisies and proteas. Critically endangered habitat harbouring nine endemic species.

  • Buchu

A small shrub with aromatic leaves, historically used for medicinal teas and perfumes, endemic to the Cape’s rocky slopes.

  • Wild Rosemary

A fragrant shrub with silvery foliage and white flowers, often used in traditional remedies and thriving in sandy soils.

  • Pride of Table Mountain

A striking, blue-flowered shrub that blooms in spring, attracting pollinators and adding vibrant colour to the fynbos landscape.

  • Table Mountain

A flat-topped sandstone massif, offering panoramic views and home to unique flora and fauna, it’s a world-renowned natural landmark.

  • Chapman’s Peak

A dramatic coastal mountain ridge with winding roads, stunning ocean views, and rich biodiversity, popular for hiking and scenic drives.

  • Cape Point
